The newest addition to this bustling urban campus, the Pratt Building has two dramatic custom curtain walls featuring 7-story cantilevered glass “wings” that extend 3 feet beyond the last structural mullion.  In order to withstand the deign loads, these wings were pre-fabricated and glazed, reinforced with steel and hoisted into place with a mobile crane.  The “zero sightline” operable windows utilize 4-sided structural glazing and are indiscernible within the curtain wall system. General Bronze also furnished and installed custom aluminum copings, eyebrows and soffits, storefronts, a rain screen metal panel system and solid stainless steel entrance & vestibule system to complete a comprehensive building envelope contract.
