Owner: 123 Perry Street LLC New York, NY Architect: Lee Harris Pomeroy Architects, PC New York, NY Contract Value: $2,100,000.00 The design challenge of this distinctive 11 story luxury condominium was to provide a window and skylight system that pays homage to the cobblestone streets and masonry row houses of one of New York’s oldest residential neighborhoods. General Bronze was selected to supply and install the thermally-broken French door type windows that feature a European multi-point locking system, narrow sightlines and landmark muntins. The new casements are reminiscent of old time steel windows in look yet incorporate modern gasketing and sealants for superior water control and thermal performance.
Juxtaposed against these classic style windows are the two skylight systems of brick red mullions, with high performance safety glazing providing views of midtown Manhattan and the Hudson River from the living rooms of these multi-million dollar condominium homes.
